Founded in 2001, ZU-UK is an established award winning independent theatre and digital arts company based in Newham with links to Brazil and beyond. Driven by an artistic partnership between Jorge Lopes Ramos and Persis Jadé Maravala, ZU-UK aim to make transformational and unforgettable immersive art for the curious. In 2014 they received the Rio De Janeiro Culture Award for contributions to socially engaged innovations in the arts.

ABOUT OUR COLLABORATION WITH ZU-UK

Big Feast began working with ZU-UK in 2016 to support their fundraising activities. Since then, we have worked with ZU-UK to:

• Support the Directors to develop a Fundraising Strategy and securing over £138K in grants
• Develop an ambitious 5 year artistic strategy, including a new framework for identifying appropriate commissioning partners
• Booking a national tour of their interactive performance ‘Binaural Dinner Date’
